How Can An Attorney Help You?
Many drivers believe that if they try to fight a ticket on their own that they will have a successful result. More often that not, this is not the case. Without a lawyer, you’ll have to face a prosecutor whose primary job is to get convictions. Prosecutors and judges are experts in asking questions in a way that can elicit responses that may not bode well for your case.
Although some believe that hiring an attorney for traffic violations is overkill and not worth the extra expense it can actually save you money in the long run. Hiring an experienced traffic ticket lawyer, your odds of having a favorable outcome for your ticket are far greater. A plea bargain or dismal not only means that the monetary value of your fine will be smaller, but you will also save money by preventing increases in insurance premiums. Moving violations can also impact your ability to perform certain jobs. For example, if you have three or more moving violations in three years you cannot drive for Uber or Lyft.
